A couple of days ago, there's been an ongoing discussion on internet about the drapery materials and the possible drapery panel applications. Following that dicussion we have gathered great information towards that subject, thanks for all those tips everyone. Like we said, it is concluded that different drapes counts for different uses.
Before choosing a drape, think of these things, what is my purpose, is this the best drapery panel that I can use?
First, most drapery panels nowadays are flame-retardent, for safety issues, you are advised to check your drape supplier if you are not sure about that. Flame-retardent drapes are not expensive these days since they are commonly used. Keep in mind that flame-retardent drape does not mean it is completely burning resistence, it means that this material can endure fire for a certain degree.
Then, think about how your drapery panel should work. Do you want it to act as a lighting block, or simply for decoration use, for those drapes used in wedding, then they are mainly used as background. However any drape used in places like locker room, stage dress cell, dresser room should use lighting invisibility curtains.
